Noir Noir

Noir (black) is all I see in the morning, because the sun is not up.
Noir is all I see in the afternoon, because the clouds are covering the sun.
Noir is all I see in the evening, because it’s already twilight and for my gusto way too early.
But at least Noir Noir is making my day brighter and is giving me the daily needed dose of fashion vitamin D.
With their Fall/Winter 2013 capsule collection named “Tapisserie Médièvale” the brand is taking us way back in time: (It’s funny how fashion is taking us to renaissance, back to era of pharaohs and then forth to the baroque era) it’s all about the medieval times to shine.

The brand describes the collection as following:
For this debut colletion, Noir Noir fuses fashion and photography. The intersection of these two art forms gives birth to a line where cotton deceives the eye and becomes a medium in itself. The collection aspires to create confusion in perception. The brand imprisons bucolic scenes within a T-shirt or a fairytale landscape in a sweatshirt. 
The idea is simple, the result is spectacular. It’s the strength of this ‘made in france’ label that spread its wings in 2012 that it’s being distributed by the world’s most cutting edge stores. Maturing steadily, the brand has also added all-over printed caps and jackets to its repertoire. It’s the hyper-realism of the photos chosen by Noir Noir that gives these high quality pieces their originality.
