If you’re thinking about the holidays, specifically, holiday parties: don’t call me vain but what to wear? Besides the ridiculously comfortable and otherwise plain ridiculous christmas sweater, my biggest problem is always which dress to wear without making the age-old mistake of landing in the Who wore it better? Instagram version. Ain’t no one got time for that!

So I thought I’d finally share my biggest brand crush that is NOT Chanel level once every blue moon affordable, but proper high street prices. Three Floor Fashion. I have been meaning to post this for a while now but somehow life got in the way, post distractions, the occasional work side effect… Now here you go, some of my favourite looks of both SS13 and FW13/14 collections. The London label which I have been online stalking for a little bit over two years now has always managed to pull out amazing, edgy and most of all, beautiful dresses with an unmistakable trademark of mixing fabrics and new silhouettes. And now they have teamed up with Moxham to create chunky, Hermès meets Courtney Love (when she was… you know, not the mess she is now) jewelry love children, ranging from belts over to bracelets and necklaces. Their collection can be purchased on Asos, Shopbop and on the ThreeFloor website itself, where best of all, you can scroll through all the old collections, some of which they still have in stock! As I am still weirdly obsessed with their summer collection (sigh!) I will soon need to order my next batch of outfits before you greedy readers snatch them away from underneath me… (only half-kidding here). xEve

In case you don’t believe my deep-rooted love for Three Floor, this is a picture of moi taken at Berlin Fashion Week this summer, wearing the China Dress, published in German GRAZIA. So that proves it, you can party all night, skip sleeping, showering and changing and still somehow be featured in the Streetstyle section:

Chloé Treats

With Clare Waight Keller, creative director of Chloé

Colorful deliciousness

The other day at the Chloé afterparty, I had the honor to meet the label’s creative director, the beautiful, but most of all, incredibly talented Clare Waight Keller. In her summer collection 2014 for the label, she mixed up the typical Chloé relaxed elegance with boyfriend-cut shorts, tapered pants and standout cut-out tops and laser-cut lace pieces which were to die for.

While stuffing my face with the tiny, delicious treats that were served at the party at the beautiful Hôtel Particulier in Montmartre (and drowning it all with glasses of champagne… just another casual Sunday), I observed the crowd, many of whom work for the company and once again, I had to duly note in my head:

When you (finally) grow up and get a job, work in fashion; not liking your colleagues is just so much harder if they have great style.

Below are a few of my favorite looks from the SS2014 collection:

Art for Breakfast

The Chanel show this morning. I am still truly blown away from all the amazing impressions of both the setting (hello, Grand Palais turned Picasso, baby!), the art, the giant Chanel Bags on the wall that were observed to be the most popular photo spot, and first and foremost, the collection. This was an epic morning for the SS14 Paris Fashion Week.

In my head, Karl designed for the wide range of Chanel Art Galleristas, the punk street artist, the elegant collector, the playful art student. Thank you Chanel for having me, it was an incredible experience of which this is just a quick preview post of my three favorite looks from the show. Expect (even more) raving reviews to come! Congratulations Monsieur, you did it again!

Hair of Gold

The divine Sasha Luss after Dries van Noten yesterday. Loving the gold glitter hair and make up with her ice blonde hair and angelic features. Major, major girlcrush. And don’t even get me started on the off duty look: sculptural embellished sweater, leather pants and those über-cool Chanel ankle boots. Lovelove!

(Oh but don’t get fooled, models could strut down the street in a ginormous McDonald’s paper bag and would still make it onto all street style blogs… Once again, it really pays off to be beautiful.)
